Privacy Policy
Plain-Language Summary
This is a simplified overview of our Privacy Policy. It doesn't replace the full policy; please read the complete version below for all the details.
Last Updated: 7/7/2026
Who we are. WayLessSad LLC runs games (like DCS-115 on Roblox), Discord communities, the Anastasia bot, and waylesssad.co. We operate on platforms we don't control. These services collect their own data about you under their own privacy policies. This summary and our policy only cover what we do.
What we collect. Depending on how you use our stuff: your Discord ID, username, roles, and messages in our servers (for moderation and bot features); your Roblox ID and in-game activity; your email if you sign up or contact us; and basic technical info (like IP address) when you visit our site.
How the Anastasia bot works. Anastasia is a moderation tool. It can automatically flag, log, and act on messages in our servers - including issuing warnings, mutes, kicks, or bans; and it uses AI to help judge context. It also
scans for signs that someone may be in distress and can alert human moderators. Important: we are not a mental-health or emergency service, detection isn't guaranteed to be accurate or timely, and we can't promise complete
confidentiality. If you're in danger, contact emergency services.
Payments. For direct purchases, a third-party payment processor handles your card details, we never see your full card number. Robux purchases go through Roblox.
We don't sell your data. We only share it with our team and service providers who need it, with platforms as required to operate on them, for safety or legal reasons, or if the company is ever sold or merged.
Kids. We don't knowingly collect personal info directly from children under 13 without proper consent, and we rely on Roblox's and Discord's age and parental controls for platform activity. Parents can contact us at privacy@waylesssad.co.
Your rights. Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or opt out of certain processing. Email privacy@waylesssad.co with the subject line "ACTION REQUIRED: Data Takedown
Request" and include your Discord ID or Roblox username.
Security. We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.
This summary skips some details. For the complete picture, including data retention, international users, and how the policy can change, read the full Privacy Policy below.
Our Policy
Effective Date: 7/3/2026
Last Updated: 7/3/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how WayLessSad LLC ("WayLessSad," "we," "us," or "our"), a Colorado limited liability company, collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with our games, bots, servers, websites, and other services (collectively, the "Services"), including our Roblox experiences (such as DCS-115), our Discord servers and the Anastasia bot, and our website at waylesssad.co. This Policy works alongside our Terms of Service (https://waylesssad.co/terms). By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described here.
1. A NOTE ON THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
Much of what we offer runs on third-party platforms we do not own or control - primarily Roblox and Discord (each a "Platform"). When you use our Services through a Platform, that Platform independently collects and processes data about you under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. We encourage you to review:
- Roblox's Privacy Policy
- Discord's Privacy Policy
We are an unaffiliated creator operating on these Platforms, and we work in accordance with their terms. This Policy covers only our practices, not theirs.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following:
(a) Discord account information. When you join our Discord communities or interact with the Anastasia bot, we may collect your Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar, roles, and server-membership information.
(b) Anastasia bot data. In the course of operating moderation, ticketing, logging, journaling, and safety features, we may process and store: message content and metadata within our servers (where relevant to these features), moderation actions and history, support-ticket contents, journaling entries you create, and logs of bot interactions.
(c) Roblox account data and in-game telemetry. When you play our Roblox experiences, we may collect your Roblox user ID and display name and in-game telemetry such as gameplay events, progress, settings, session activity, and interactions within the experience, to the extent permitted by Roblox.
(d) Email and contact information. When you sign up for newsletters, request direct services, or contact us, we collect the email address and any information you provide.
(e) Payment-related information. For direct purchases (not Platform purchases), our third-party payment processor collects and processes your payment details. We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers. For Platform purchases (e.g., Robux), the Platform handles payment under its own policies. (See Section 6.)
(f) Technical and usage data. When you use our website, we may collect standard technical data such as IP address, device/browser type, and basic usage analytics.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Services, games, and community tools;
- Provide moderation, ticketing, logging, and journaling features;
- Operate safety and distress-detection features (see Section 4);
- Communicate with you, including sending newsletters or service updates you request;
- Process direct purchases and prevent fraud;
- Enforce our Terms, protect the safety and rights of our community, and comply with law;
- Understand how the Services are used so we can improve them.
4. COMMUNITY MODERATION AND THE ANASTASIA BOT
Our Anastasia bot includes automated moderation and safety/distress-detection features. This means:
- Discord messages within our communities may be automatically flagged, logged, and tracked by the bot for moderation purposes;
- The bot may act automatically and on its own - including issuing punishments such as warnings, mutes, kicks, or bans - and uses third-party artificial-intelligence services to help assess the context of a situation and determine whether intervention is necessary;
- Messages may be automatically scanned for indicators of distress, risk, or harm;
- When the system detects such indicators, it may flag, log, or escalate the content to human moderators so they can respond appropriately;
- These automated processes constitute automated processing of content for moderation and safety purposes, and human review may follow.
The bot is primarily a community-moderation tool. When you use tickets, the vent system, or other one-to-one team-to-user services, your activity and communications are logged in our systems. While we work to keep this content confidential and accessible only to authorized team members, we cannot guarantee confidentiality against bad actors, unauthorized access, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Please understand:
- WayLessSad is not a mental-health provider, crisis service, or emergency responder. These features are community-support tools, not professional, clinical, or emergency services.
- We cannot guarantee that detection will be accurate, complete, timely, or that any particular outcome, response, or confidentiality will result. Some situations may not be detected; some flagged content may be a false alarm.
- We do not promise that escalations will or will not involve any particular person or authority. If you or someone else is in immediate danger or crisis, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis resource right away.We design these features to prioritize user safety while limiting data collection to what is reasonably necessary for the moderation and safety purpose.
5. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:
- With our team and moderators who operate the community and safety tools, on a need-to-know basis;
- With service providers (such as hosting, payment processing, and analytics) who process data on our behalf under appropriate obligations;
- With Platforms, only as inherent in operating on them;
- For safety, where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of any person, or to address an emergency;
- For legal reasons, to comply with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to enforce our Terms;
- In a business transfer, if WayLessSad is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
6. PAYMENTS
For direct purchases, payment is processed by a third-party payment processor that we designate; their handling of your payment information is governed by their privacy policy. We receive transaction confirmation and limited details (such as the fact and amount of a purchase) but not your full card number.
For Platform purchases (e.g., Robux on Roblox), the Platform processes payment under its own policies; we do not handle that payment data.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our Services reach a general audience that may include children, and access by children is controlled in significant part by the Platforms through which our Services are delivered. We rely on and operate in accordance with those Platforms' age-assurance, parental-control, and consent mechanisms.
For Services we provide directly (such as our website, newsletters, and direct-payment offerings), we do NOT knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate consent. If we learn that we have collected personal information directly from a child under 13 in a manner inconsistent with applicable law (including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, "COPPA"), we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Parents and guardians: If you believe a child has provided us personal information directly and improperly, please contact us at privacy@waylesssad.co (see Section 11 for how to submit requests), and we will respond consistent with applicable law.Because much of children's data within our community tools may be processed through Platforms, parents should also use the parental-control and privacy tools the Platforms provide.
8. DATA RETENTION
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, operate community and safety tools, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Moderation, safety, and logging records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for community safety or legal compliance. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
9. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the Colorado Privacy Act and similar laws), you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete your personal information;
- Opt out of certain processing;
- Appeal a decision we make about your request.
You can also unsubscribe from newsletters using the link in those emails, and you can manage much of your Platform data through the Platform's own controls.
How to submit a request:
Email privacy@waylesssad.co with the exact subject line: ACTION REQUIRED: Data Takedown Request
Please include enough information to identify your data (such as your Discord user ID and/or Roblox username) so we can locate and act on your request. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
10. SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, and our safety features are built with a privacy-first approach that limits collection to what is reasonably necessary. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. INTERNATIONAL USERS
We are based in the United States, and information we process is handled in the United States and potentially other locations where we or our service providers operate. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States, which may have data-protection laws different from those in your country.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
